Growth: An Exciting Leadership Update at Ernst

I’m thrilled to announce a significant milestone in Ernst Brothers’ journey. We are welcoming Kevin Post as our new Chief Financial Officer – a decision spurred by the major growth our company has experienced in recent years. This is an exciting chapter for Ernst Brothers + Builders as we look to expand on this growth to achieve some exciting goals, and I am excited at what we will accomplish in the months ahead with our talented and dedicated team.  

Bringing Kevin on will allow me to fully lean into my role as Managing Partner as we take Ernst to the next level. As Managing Partner, I’ve been entrusted by Joe and Tim Ernst, our company’s founders, to oversee the operations of this business. Joe and Tim continue to be heavily involved in what they love most, managing projects as principal project managers – in addition to their involvement in sales, estimating, and collaborating on the overall vision for the company. Their hands-on expertise is invaluable and, along with our team, ensures we continue delivering the exceptional Ernst experience our clients and partners have come to know and expect.

We have a clear vision for Ernst’s future, which will be built on four key pillars, including:

• Building a stronger team through continued talent acquisition to expand our already outstanding Ernst family.

  
  

• Securing bigger projects to maximize labor and resources.

  
  

• Building even better systems to allow us to be more efficient and effective.

  
  

• Making our work sites even safer by following all safety protocols, including the adoption of a new, digital safety platform.

Bringing Kevin in to fulfill the role of CFO is a key part of our growth blueprint as he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our leadership team. He holds an undergraduate degree in business and economics from Lehigh University and has held senior financial leadership roles at prestigious organizations. Kevin’s career began with five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in public accounting, followed by his role as Vice President of Finance for Showtime Networks. Most recently, Kevin spent 13 years as Vice President and General Manager of the Keenan Motor Group.
